Buddies
Someone who knows it, and knows you.
A buddy is not a stylist and not a salesperson. They are someone who knows the city, has no stake in what you buy, and will tell you when something does not work.
London, at the pace of a walk.
The standard
What has to be true before anyone meets you.
There are no profiles on this page yet, because there are no buddies we would put in front of you without telling you exactly how they got here. This is that.
-
Interviewed in person
Not a form, not a video call. Our founder meets every buddy before anything else happens.
-
ID checked and referenced
Both verified before a first session, and neither is taken on trust.
-
Approved one at a time
There is no open sign-up and no gig-app onboarding. Every buddy is a decision.
-
Matched, not allocated
Honey reads your form and picks the person who fits it. If you would rather choose, you can, for £50.
-
Named before the day
You get your buddy’s name and photo in advance, so you know exactly who you are looking for.
-
Paid by us, not by shops
Your buddy’s job is to be useful to you, and nothing about how they are paid depends on what you buy.
Where we actually go.
Not a list of famous streets. Six districts, and the reason each one earns an afternoon. This is the part a buddy is actually being paid for.
-
Mayfair
Mount Street, Bruton Street, and the quiet ones behind them.
-
Marylebone
The village end. Independents, and nothing overwhelming.
-
Covent Garden
Seven Dials rather than the piazza. Locals shop the side streets.
-
Shoreditch
Redchurch Street. Vintage that is actually worth the money.
-
Selfridges
Whole days disappear here. That is what a buddy is for.
-
Notting Hill
Westbourne Grove, and the market on the right morning.
